Long Term Sustainable Forest Management MRC is currently working on a long term sustainable forest management plan that includes a Habitat Conservation Plan, Natural Communities Conservation Plan, and Program Timberland Environmental Impact Report. In total, these plans will provide for long term conservation of threatened and endangered species as well as natural communities existing on MRC lands. In March 2006, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection held two scoping sessions in Fort Bragg and Ukiah to facilitate public input for the Program Timberland Environmental Impact Report.
